Navaridas & Deutinger
Marta Navaridas and Alex Deutinger both studied Translation, Interpreting and Dance. Marta studied Translation at UPF Barcelona, Choreography at ArtEZ University Arnhem and Mime at HKA Amsterdam. Alex studied Translation at Karl- Franzens-University Graz and Contemporary Dance at the Institute for Dance Arts (IDA) of Anton Bruckner University Linz. Together, they have been developing mostly text-based performances since 2008. Selected works: Your Majesties, Speaking of Which, On the Other Hand, Queen of Hearts, Pontifex, I would like to be a better person. Their works have been presented, among others, at Abrons Arts Center New York, Gessnerallee Zürich, Maison de la Danse Lyon, Palazzo Grassi Venice, The Place London, Danspalladium Malmö, Rencontres Chorégraphiques de Seine-Saint Denis, Centrale Fies Dro, Pôle Sud Strasbourg, Impulstanz Festival Vienna, Dansens Hus Stockholm, Muffatwerk Munich, Frascati Amsterdam, Escena Contemporánea Madrid, Szene Salzburg, and at Tanzquartier Vienna.
