Programme change imagetanz opening
SPÖKA by Stina Fors cannot take place at brut nordwest on 15, 17 and 18 March at 20:00 as announced. Due to illness and the associated lengthy cancellation of rehearsals, the piece cannot yet be premiered. Instead, Stina Fors will present her solo A mouthful of tongues on 15 March. On 18 March, Stina Fors will provide insights into the rehearsal process for SPÖKA as part of a showing followed by an artist talk. The show on 17 March has been cancelled. All tickets reserved and purchased for 15 and 18 March remain valid. Tickets for 17 March are valid for the show on 18 March. If you still wish to cancel your tickets, please let us know by 16:00 of the respective day at the latest via tickets@brut-wien.at.

In First Person Plural, Imani Rameses explores the nature of the self at the intersection of African divination and psychoanalysis. Five performers share a body, their identities fragment and reshape themselves. Through dance and embodied practice, the self becomes visible as a changeable boundary. Accompanied by cello, electronics and voice (Marleen Moharitsch), the piece attempts to dissolve fixed contexts - until the self perhaps disappears altogether.

Tickets for imagetanz 2025 are now available! From 15 March to 12 April, the festival will present new positions in choreography and performance. At brut nordwest, studio brut, WUK performing arts, Bears in the Park Art Place, FLUCC Deck and Palais Rössl, international and local artists – including Stina Fors, maria mercedes, Hyeji Nam and Björn Säfsten – will present a varied programme with numerous world and Austrian premieres, workshops, parties and much more.
