brut invites interested parties, allies and anyone who wants to work for more accessibility to an open networking meeting. This offers space to reflect on familiar structures and one’s own positions and is intended as an invitation to exchange questions that focus on inclusive approaches.
In recent years, the topics of inclusion and accessibility have gained increasing urgency and attention, but ableist structures continue to exist on many levels and are still far from being overcome. What does accessibility actually mean and how can it be sustainably integrated into the scene and institutions? Which perspectives are essential? How can equal cooperation between institutions and experts/people affected succeed and what does allyship mean in this context? How to be an ally...?
