The ticket sale for the programme from the beginning of December to the beginning of March starts on 13 November – with a world premiere by Karin Pauer, a connection to Bangkok by Henrike Iglesias, a ‘Come Back’ by Doris Uhlich and much more.

Huggy Bears Days 2024

The Huggy Bears Days begin on 14 and 15 November at WUK performing arts with Ruin Your Life, the participatory performance and video installation by Ale Bachlechner. Afterwards, MO-ZA-IK (Rosa Perl, Viviane Le Tanzmeister, Jamali Abale, Mátyás Kántor) will present the dance and DJ performance Elevate. The Huggy Bears Days will then move to studio brut, where Helena Araújo will perform and it gets better from 21 to 23 November.

Artwork Season 2024/25

The artwork for season 2024/25 by filmmaker and interdisciplinary artist Nigel Gavus focuses on the performativity of everyday life and coincidences. The ‘Marocats’ series shows street cats in order to visualise their everyday situations and capture them as a contemporary document.

Kira Kirsch will be the new artistic director of Festival Perspectives for the upcoming festival editions from 2025 onwards. She will continue as artistic director of brut Wien until the end of season 2025/26.

In addition to her work as Artistic Director of brut Wien, Kira Kirsch will take over the management of the Franco-German cultural festival Perspectives in her home town of Saarbrücken from 2025.

Impressions of the opening of "HOUSE OF CONSTRUCTS" by Aldo Giannotti in collaboration with Karin Pauer at Bank Austria Kunstforum Wien

Aldo Giannotti's performative exhibition project "HOUSE OF CONSTRUCTS", in collaboration with choreographer Karin Pauer and curator Lisa Ortner-Kreil, reimagines the exhibition space as both a literal and metaphorical construction site. Continuously evolving over the duration of three weeks, this innovative undertaking examines the dynamic interplay between spatial configurations and human behaviors through Giannotti's signature approach: instruction-based drawings that probe their practical and conceptual potentials.
