Category is...! Ballroom meets brut!
For the opening of this year's imagetanz festival, Kiki House of Dive invites you for the first time to a Kiki Ball at brut in early March.
The origins of the Ballroom scene lie in New York in the 1970s. Originating in the Afro-diasporic and Latin American queer community, ballrooms were created as safe spaces far away from white, heteronormative society.
At Balls, the community comes together to celebrate and contestants compete against and with each other in different Categories.
The categories will be announced in mid-February via Instagram (@kikihouseof.dive).
