Lucie Strecker conducts artistic research in the field of hybrid art. From 2016 to 2020 she headed the Elise Richter PEEK project “The Performative Biofact”. In 2015, her cooperation with Klaus Spiess was awarded an Honorary Mention by Ars Electronica. Together they presented their work internationally. Since 2018, Lucie Strecker has shown performative installations at the Vienna Biennale, the Vienna Design Week, the Impulse Festival, the Künstlerhaus Wien and the House of World Cultures in Berlin and was artist-in-lab at the ZHdK. Together with media scientist Jens Hauser, she published the special edition "On Microperformativity" in Performance Research in 2020 and co-curated an exhibition in 2021 in Magazin 4, Bregenz. Since 2020 she has been working as a Senior Artist at the Applied Performance Laboratory, to which Daniel Aschwanden also belonged.
