FOURDUMMIES

In 2013, Waltraud Brauner, Peter Baur and Georg Klüver-Pfandtner founded the fictitious artist collective FOURDUMMIES, including a made-up 20-year old history of art projects and works.

Their work examines the relationships between fact and fiction questioning authorship, agency, linear historiography and the grande narrative through different formats (e.i. interventions in public/private space, participatory events and happenings as well as stage shows).

FOURDUMMIES have presented their works in different contexts like art galleries, theatre venues and art and performance festivals (Fotogralerie Wien, brut Wien, steirischer herbst).

Since their formation, FOURDUMMIES have collaborated with a variety of wonderful guests in varying constellations: Stefan Beer, Willhelm Binder, Johanna Moder, Sissie Noe, Katharina Pizzera, Theda Schifferdecker, Lisa Schwalb, Christoph Szalay.
