{Accessibility} {Artistic practice} {Art of access}

The workshop will tackle matters of artistic accessibility, its requirements and conditions. The conceptual fields of ableism and privilege will be discussed in their influences on everyday lives as well as for institutional practices. They are important subjects when it comes to removing barriers and initiating necessary transformational processes.

Three sparrows against a background of fir branches. One sparrow is flying, the other two are sitting on a branch in the background. Light falls through the branches and bathes the scene in warm green. An idyllic atmosphere that radiates peace and a sense of optimism.

The series brut accessible deals with aesthetics and conditions of accessibility in the performing arts. In workshops, discourse formats, artistic impulses and a conference, experiences of artists and audiences with disabilities can be discussed, existing practices can be explored, and new incentives and impulses can be created: lived experience and perception is at the center of this discussion.
