On the trail of Sodom & Gomorrha (1921/22)
Before the revue Sodom Vienna goes on stage, there will be a guided tour to the filming location for the monumental production Sodom and Gomorrha (1921/22) on the Laaer Berg in Vienna’s Favoriten district. The tour runs from the “film pond” at Kurpark Oberlaa to the Böhmischer Prater, following the traces of this gigantic silent film project involving 15,000 people to transform the then wasteland into the biblical Sodom by erecting huge sets.
