Elena Lach and Ema Benčíková are collaborating with autistic and neuroqueer individuals at Spacing in: Relaxed Performance Lab (14–16 November) to develop forms of performance that allow for breaks from stimulation, freedom of movement, and empathy – and they will celebrate the whole thing with a Relaxed Drag Show by the Dragsau collective on 15 November 19:00.

In 2025, Huggy Bears Days will once again present works by young artists at brut Wien and WUK performing arts. François-Eloi Lavignac dances a tragic ballet love story, while Laureen Drexler & Giorgia Scisciola address the subject of oppression (12–14 November, 19:00, studio brut). “[EOL]. End of Life” nominated for the Nestroy Special Prize 2025

We are delighted to announce that the performative VR installation and brut co-production “[EOL]. End of Life” by DARUM (Victoria Halper & Kai Krösche) has been nominated for the Nestroy Special Prize and can be experienced again at brut nordwest from 14 November. In addition, from 10 to 21 November, you can vote for Susanne Kirnbauer, who celebrated her “comeback” at brut Wien in February this year together with Doris Uhlich, for the Nestroy ORF III Audience Award. Congratulations!

Choreographic Platform Austria – CPA 2025 will take place in Salzburg in November

The biennial festival presents eleven outstanding productions, including five co-productions by brut Wien, and makes Salzburg the Austrian capital of dance from 20 to 22 November.

Artwork Season 2025/26

In the 2025/26 season, we will bid farewell to brut nordwest with Kira Kirsch's final programme. That is why photographers Daniela Trost and Susanna Hofer are focusing on the venue and the grounds at Nordwestbahnhof station and staging it artistically in a new way. Their photographs open up spaces for viewing, shift boundaries and allow the interior and exterior to flow into one another.
