Tickets are now available for the programme from mid-April to the end of June 2025! You can look forward to a groundbreaking project by Zoe Gudović – with new media artist Anastasiia Vorobiova, director Miloš Lolić, cabaret drag performer Dekadenca and authors Barbi Marković and Olja Alvir –, a world premiere by Oleg Soulimenko, a showing by Peaches dancer Danilo Andrés and much more.

A journey between tradition and technology

A woman lies with her face partially in the water, her gaze calm and contemplative. The water's surface creates a distorted reflection of her face, that appears to be unsettling.

Inspired by Korean shamanic rituals and digital media, Hyeji Nam creates a fascinating performance about identity, memory and connection in the post-digital age. MANSHIN is a sensual experience of sound, body and image - a ritual act that interweaves past and future.

Tickets for imagetanz 2025 are now available! From 15 March to 12 April, the festival will present new positions in choreography and performance. At brut nordwest, studio brut, WUK performing arts, Bears in the Park Art Place, FLUCC Deck and Palais Rössl, international and local artists – including Stina Fors, maria mercedes, Hyeji Nam and Björn Säfsten – will present a varied programme with numerous world and Austrian premieres, workshops, parties and much more.

Artwork imagetanz 2025

The artwork for imagetanz 2025 was created by Berlin-based artist Mary-Audrey Ramirez. With her creatures, she creates a timeless and spaceless, post-anthropocentric world without hierarchies. This world eludes our orientation and makes us forget for a moment who we are and why we think we are important.

Artist Playlists

In keeping with their pieces, imagetanz artists have created Spotify playlists to get the audience in the mood for their work or to send them off into the night with the right soundtrack. Björn Säfsten, for example, takes us into the night with songs by James Blake, Little Dragon, Caroline Polacek and Jessica Pratt, while Hyeji Nam takes things from melancholic to electronic with Oklou, Appleblim, Burial and Aphex Twin.
