It’s time to say goodbye

Several people are crossing a wide street junction on a zebra crossing. Some people wear winter jackets and face masks.

From 10 to 12 June (19:00–22:00), Karin Pauer & Aldo Giannotti will celebrate the end of brut Wien’s final season at brut nordwest with their durational performance FOR NOW. In this site-specific project based on the creation of a mural, the audience is invited to witness the transformation of the venue and to collectively bid farewell to the location. Free admission!

Last chance on stage

To say goodbye to brut nordwest and to Kira Kirsch as artistic director, the Hamburg-based collective Queereeoké is throwing an exuberant karaoke party on 12 June. From 22:00, the stage is yours for big farewell songs and spontaneous choreographies. Admission is free!

Meltdown, Breakdown, Get down

The queer party series KISSEN brings sensual beats and euphoria with BRUT HARD SOFT KISSEN After Pride Edition, as well as numerous special guests, including GATAFIERA (live) and Thundercxnt, nas.delphine, anxxxious_t, Elle Fierce, yves (DJ sets) as well as Oleksii (performance). We say goodbye to brut nordwest on the dance floor – loud, soft and sweaty.

Farewell words by Kira Kirsch & Flori Gugger

After eleven years, Kira Kirsch and Flori Gugger bid farewell to brut Wien – looking back on a time of departures, detours and movement: from Künstlerhaus out into the city, across more than one hundred venues and all the way to the temporary home of brut nordwest. A personal farewell text about places that disappear, a team that made so much possible, artists who were willing to take risks, and an institution that learned to feel at home in change.
