Keeping Up with the Trouble: A Drama sees itself as an opportunity; more concretely as an occasion for the 14 artist*s working in different disciplines to occupy the rooms of brut from June 30th to July 3rd in the form of a joint exhibition and thus intervene to question the relationship of the white cube to the black box.
The theatre space is used as an exhibition space during the event free period and is confronted with works from the fields of painting, installation, video, object and photography.
The visitors enter brut as a performative space and find themselves in the stillness of an exhibition environment, and as the mobile component in a static environment in which movement (as action) and stillness (as pose) alternate.
