To celebrate her premiere in April, dancer/choreographer Veza Fernández invites the audience to an open workshop. In it, Veza Fernández will convey various methods she has used in creating her new work When Eye Becomes Mouth. In the workshop, the group of participants will create sound using their voices, their bodies and movements. In playful exercises and while dancing, the group will speak and taste with gestures, eyes and mouth, use their senses to interact with each other and perceive differently what is around them. One does not necessarily have to touch each other to connect.
“Newbies and amateurs but also professional dancers are kindly invited to participate in the workshop preceding the evening show. After attending, everybody will be perfectly prepared to enjoy the performance even more fully!”
The workshop runs 45 minutes. Pay as you wish! Please register at tickets@brut-wien.at. The performance When Eye Becomes Mouth by Veza Fernández will start following the workshop at 8 pm.
