The last BRUTTO of this season is going to be great, loud and wonderful.
ZSAMM, featuring Maja Osojnik and Patrick Wurzwaller, enter darker and more violent realms between voice, electronic music and drums that at times, sound like a grunting and howling wolf pack, fluttering bats in the dark, a squeling sawmill or like a kind of distorted version of the Doors Break on Through finally ending in a vocal Reißwolf. In a highly energetic set, the ferocious electronics of Maja Osoknik trigger the expressiveness of her angry voice while acting as a nimble master/mistress of the switching button board, the mike and the voice in her hands!.
Wien Diesel is the new collaborated project of the performance artist Bechamel3000 aka Mc Rhine and the “beat-maker” Marie Vermont aka DNYE. Together, they combine various styles, genres and performances and collage them on stage. Thereby they use loop station, sampler, drum machines, synthesizers, rap skills, humour and a lot of energy. Expect the unexpected!
Wipeout, the gentlemen of the Austrian electronic music, work with solid tools and strict shapes. Brute kickdrums, wicked midrange beats, pretentious singing and analogous noises, industrial techno and soft synth-pop of a timeless beauty. No experiments but a lot of jamboree since 1992. Undignified, but cheerful with Wipeout!

BRUTTO is a concert series juxtaposing various artistic formats, styles, approaches and methods. A team of curators (Rania Moslam, Lisa Kortschak and Gregor Mahnert) presents small, fine shows of experimental music. But they don’t arbitrarily say ‘anything goes’, they ambitiously combine opposites and seeming opposites.
