Rey Molina Joichl (he/they) is an Austro-Peruvian artist, psychologist, and travesti whose life trajectory has been shaped by always being ‘the odd one out’. Their practice unfolds across dance, drag, writing, and sonic research, focusing on the creation of worlds that dismantle binary frameworks of being. They have performed at WUK, steirischer herbst, Kunsthalle Wien, Teatro Didascalia, and BRUX Freies Theater Innsbruck, among other venues. In 2025, they were awarded the danceWEB Scholarship. Currently they are participating in the programme campar campo hosted by the theatres La Caldera and La Poderosa in Barcelona.
