F emerges from the darkness into pink-purple light. The head slightly raised, the gaze as is awe, one hand stretching out in front. Behind F, the abbreviation “AD” for audio description is projected onto a purple screen, along with the slightly blurred German words: “ Ein verhandelndes Aber schwebt über dem Raum.”

Fia/Sophia Neises (she/her) is a performer, choreographer, access dramaturge, and disability rights activist. Her artistic work focuses on multisensory perception and dance. She is currently researching the tension between abstraction and the experience of missing out.
