Awareness friends are alos present at this event. brut opens the new season with two arrivals: after many years at brut nordwest, we invite you to join us in the early evening for our first season opening in the third district. At the same time, we welcome a new artistic direction under Tomasz Kireńczuk. The area surrounding our future home, still under construction, becomes a place to gather, celebrate, and imagine what is yet to come. Centred around a platform stage, it transforms into a temporary space for encounters, performances, and shared experiences, alongside food and drinks. Within this unfolding temporary space, *THE BALLAD SAT ON YOUR TONGUE* by Veza Fernández and Tony Wagner unfolds as a sonic and vocal weave: violin, voice, noise and ambient tension intertwine, forming a conversation that moves through language and beyond it. What emerges is a shared field of listening, where sound touches body, where flesh and resonance drift into unfamiliar worlds, held together by fragile intensities. Catol Teixeira and Chaos Clay transform the construction site with *with<3out provisions #2* into a space full of oracular associations and possible promises. In this performative intervention, improvisations through movement and sound unfold continuous in the break, while remaining open to continuous transformation. *with<3out provisions #2* is a gesture of remembrance that leads into landscapes of the unpromised and creates tactile witnesses to what might have always been there. Wojciech Grudziński’s performative intervention explores the body as a site where histories, hierarchies, and desires meet and enter into relation with their surroundings. Shaped by his ballet training and socialisation in post-communist Poland, he examines the hierarchies embedded in dance traditions and their echoes in the present. His precise, physically intense works draw on archival research and queer speculation, bringing forgotten and marginalised histories into the present. In between the performances, the programme is accompanied by sound from Gawdesque, Seba Kayan and DJ Keshi. The contributions move between poetic and atmospheric textures, working with vocal fragments and experimental sound practices, with the aim to uplift and sustain community spirit throughout the evening. As the night unfolds, the sound takes us to a club context and opens up space for collective dancing and celebration. From 22:00, the night continues at The Nice Guys with a party and DJ sets next door, shifting the event from outdoors to indoors.
