*Our Moon Never Stops* is a group performance cultivating hope as a bodily and imaginative resource that nurtures solidarity and survival. Trusting in cycles of becoming to carry the body through grief and transformation, like rising tides or howling wolves, the work surrenders to visceral movement. Four performers embrace the unknown future as a generative power, creating a shared manifesto and forming polyphonic bonds. *Our Moon Never Stops* keeps returning to wholeness from the crescent, gathering in an interconnected chain.

*Our Moon Never Stops* explores hope not as passive optimism but as an embodied practice. In a world marked by suffering and destruction, hope means facing our reality while remaining open to what can still emerge. It locates itself in the present uncertainty of the future, and in that spaciousness, there is room to act and move collectively.

Through breathing cycles of inflation and deflation and a collective voice in abstract and poetic forms, four performers move as a polyphonic chorus in an immersive setting, weaving a shared sonic and kinaesthetic fabric. The lungs and heart become both metaphor and method – ‘hope has a long breath’ (Rebecca Solnit) and ‘courage is a muscle’ (Renee Sills) – a cyclical practice of filling up and letting go.

Extending Bita Bell’s artistic research of a dance manifesto of hope and fury, the performance returns to the shared language of circle dances. Holding hands while preserving unique individualities, the performers establish rhythms of togetherness that assert their presence in a connected chain.

Neither singular nor certain, *Our Moon Never Stops* embraces grief, anger, and hope as coexisting forces. It proposes performance as a space for collective dreaming, inviting audiences not only to witness but to breathe, sense, hold, and dream together toward futures shaped by solidarity rather than separation.

![In a simple stage space, several people work on the floor in front of a large shiny gold fabric hanging like a tall curtain on the wall. A person in a red top stands on the left and touches the fabric, while others kneel, lie down or bend towards the floor in front of it. Warm light from two spotlights falls onto the gold fabric and the reflective black floor.
