Susanne Songi Griem
Susanne Songi Griem is a Korean-German object- and performance artist. Since 2019 she has published her research series Library of Unfinished Memories, where she deals with contours and their dissolution. She performed these for Wien Woche, VBKÖ / Raw Matters, brut Imagetanz Handle With Care in cooperation with Le Studio Film und Bühne. She studied fine arts, English and pedagogy at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, the Art Academy Münster and the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster. In 2018 she attended “How Dance Thinks” at Dans och Cirkushögskolan in Stockholm. In 2019 she received a danceWEB scholarship during the ImPulsTanz Festival. Before that she performed for Alexandra Pirici (Leaking Territories) and worked together with Xavier le Roy and Scarlet Yu in (Still Untitled). In Vienna she was the artistic assistant to Philipp Gehmacher and Barbara Kraus. She participates in temporary group projects in public space with Toechter & Soehne, Bastelkit Harte Bonbons and the group Bussi.
