## artist.bio

Elina Pirinen lives in Helsinki as a choreographer, dancer, musician, curator and teacher. In her works, she intertwines feminist, psychodynamic, intimate bodies, language and aesthetics, always trying to combine said practice with an intuitive, romantic and collaborative process of thinking and experience. In Helsinki, Elina Pirinen regularly works with Zodiak – Brand New Dance at the Cable Factory, the Kiasma Theatre/Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, Mad House and the Performance Art Society. She teaches at the Helsinki University of Arts’ Theatre Academy and produces experimental baroque rock music with her own orchestra called *Bambi Lammella*. In Vienna, she showed her piece *Personal Symphonic Moment* at the 2015 Vienna Dance Festival. At imagetanz, she will now present her new group performance Brume de Mer for the first time in the German-speaking area.
