## artist.bio

Danilo Andrés is a choreographer, singer and visual artist based in Berlin. Danilo Andrés combines visual, acoustic and performative art as well as different media, such as sculptural headdresses, costumes, photography and video. In 2023, Danilo Andrés presented the solo performance *BICHO RARO* as part of the Tanztage Berlin at Sophiensaele. In addition, Danilo Andrés creates multidimensional solo works to explore the development of the body in a queer context. Danilo Andrés has been teaching the class *PRACTICES OF ANIMATION OF THE MATTER* at Tanzquartier Wien since 2024. The rehearsal residency at brut Wien is part of the Pina Bausch Fellowship 2024.
