Doris Uhlich, born 1977, is an Austrian choreographer and performer. She develops projects ranging from stage works to site-specific performances and collaborates with people of diverse backgrounds. Her work opens up dance to people with disabilities, challenges notions of nudity beyond eroticism and provocation, and explores the relationship between humans and machines. She has received numerous awards, most recently the 2024 Austrian Arts Prize (BMKÖS, Performing Arts), and will take up a professorship in Artistic Practice at MUK Vienna in autumn 2026. Doris Uhlich last appeared in *Come Back Again* at brut Wien in 2025, alongside Susanne Kirnbauer.
