Die irische Künstlerin Asher O’Gorman lebt und arbeitet in Wien. Ihre Arbeit vereint Praktiken der Choreografie und der bildenden Kunst. O’Gorman hat am Dartington College of Arts (Großbritannien) Choreografie studiert und ihre Ausbildung an der SEAD in Salzburg absolviert. Derzeit macht sie ihren Master am TransArts-Department der Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien. Sie erhielt das danceWEB-Stipendium von ImPulsTanz ebenso wie das START-Stipendium des Bundeskanzleramts. Zuletzt zeigte O’Gorman die Arbeit *16.01.2018*, eine Kollaboration mit der Künstlerin Anne-Clara Stahl, im PFERD forum for contemporary art in Wien und im Kunstraum Lakeside Klagenfurt. Im Rahmen von imagetanz 2019 lud Asher O’Gorman während ihrer Arbeit an *the way of ink ••º•* zum Studiobesuch.
