Talk: Looking Back to Look Forward
Featuring Walter Heun, Jacopo Lanteri, Kira Kirsch
In analogy to the discussion groups at last year’s imagetanz festival, where different artists and the former curators of the festival were invited to talk and exchange views, there will be another salon evening in 2017. This time, the podium will feature, in addition to artists, Walter Heun, artistic director of Tanzquartier Wien, Kira Kirsch, artistic director of brut, and Jacopo Lanteri, curator of the imagetanz festival. They will reflect on the dance scene in Vienna, Austria and the world, discuss new approaches, as well as the roles and interplay of artists, funding bodies, institutions and audiences.
